Time Magazine, in its list of the best and worst business deals of the year, has put Google’s acquisition of DoubleClick at No.3 in the best business deals section. In comparison, rival Microsoft picking up 1.6 % stake in Facebook is No.4 in the worst deals section. Google bought DoubleClick in April 2007, and paid $ 3.1 billion, while Microsoft spend $ 240 million, effectively valuing Facebook at $ 15 billion.

The man behind the little toolbar that causes millions of webmasters to chew their nails when an update is round the corner is now off the market. Yes folks, Larry Page, the man for whom Page Rank was so named, has tied the knot with Lucy Southworth on the Necker Island, owned by Virgin Atlantic founder Richard Branson. Page co founded Google with Sergey Brin, who himself got married in May this year to Anne Wojcicki.

If you go to any domain forum, you will see millions of people selling domains with Page Rank. Why are these domains attractive ? The answer is simple.
1.) Domains with existing page rank tend to have a few links pointing towards them already, and therefore the initial spade work is done. If the domain was acquired before it expired, then it will have the benefit of age too.
